expected on the 10th.

Waldorf Doll

Here she is the first Waldorf that I am satisfied with.  Asked family and friends to suggest a name for her. I love their responses.  I must say that she reminds me of my beautiful grandaughter Diane.

Few tense moments.  It was close but not in my backyard.

Hello From Riverhead

Hello from Riverhead:  I have been out of the loop for a few months.   Just needed to catch my breath and adjust to being a widow.  My house is finally beginning to straighten out.  It seemed that everything I attempted came with a whole set of problems.  But that has stopped and all is beginning to smooth out.
But let me get to the things I love to do.  Fell in love with the Waldorf Doll and have been working on two.  They helped out a great deal because I was able to sew.  As my little Studio was put away as the walls were painted and the new floor put down.  I am aching to do a watercolor and will have everything back in place and will again be able to paint.
Signed up for the Cat challenge and need to get my printer back in place.   Deciding what materials I will use.  Have an idea and should sketch it out.
Hoping to get back to you real soon with the watercolor I have in my head and must get on the paper.

I Won A Mouse

And the winner is......Dorothy Dinnigan.  Holy Smoke thats me!
Mary Ann from Mainly Mice had a give away and I won.
Told my daughter "Diane, I won a Mouse.  That's great Mom is it for the computer.
No! he is wearing a Hat."
Such a cute little mouse and very colorful.  I will have to find the perfect spot for it because
it is my Lucky Mouse.

It's Me!

Right at this very moment I feel like the crocked old women who lived in a crocked house.  She has a crocked cat and a crocked mouse.  Truly I have a cute little black dog named Raven and she is not crooked.
Right now I am going to put all else out of my mind and sit down and draw and paint.  Birds are the order of the day.  Bought a terriffic book by Tim Wooten.
This should straighten me out.  Going to try gouache on toned paper.

And No I am not spending my days in the wine cellar.

Esty Shop Still Work In Progress

There is progress being made on the shop.  I know I'm slow.  Melissa is working on the banner.

I am working on the Borrows project for Cloth Doll Artistry and this is keeping me happy.  I am thankful for my interest in Art as it has helped me get through some pretty tough stuff.

Still working out kinks!
